In August, Bitcoin was ranked tenth in the classification of the China Center for Information and Development (CCID). Now, when updating the ranking from the analysis of 33 public Blockchain projects, Bitcoin has fallen to 19th position, while EOS and Ethereum are still at the top. Meanwhile Bitcoin Cash left from 31st to 28th position.
As compared to the previous ranking, the biggest increments are Ripple, NULS, Iota, Nebulas and Bitcoin Cash, while NEM remains at the bottom of this classification.
The ranking is made by Blockchain Research Institute of CCID together with the CCID Think Tank; China Electronic Information Industry Development, and the China Software Testing Center.
The objective would be to scientifically evaluate the level of development of Blockchain-based technologies, but there are strong doubts about the true scientific nature of these analyses.
The parameters used are basic technological level, applicability and creativity.
The development of dApp could be the factor that makes EOS and Ethereum to dominate this ranking.
As for the basic technological level, the first five projects are EOS, Bitshares, Steem, Ethereum and Gxchain.
For applicability, the top five places are occupied by Ethereum, Neo, Nebulas, Qtum and Dash.
On the other hand, Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS, Nuls and Cardano are at the head of creativity.
